Just 20 minutes from Ogden and about an hour from Salt Lake City, Utah you can forget all about the City.  If you are wanting a break from the hassles of life  come and experience the perfect blend of recreation and relaxation or take a break from the ski slopes, office or whatever. Visit Utah and spend your vacation enjoying the solitude and serenity of fishing on one of Utah's beautiful rivers. Northern Utah is home to some of the best fly fishing in the West. We offer one guide for every two people and are able to give you the personalized attention and western hospitality you won't find anywhere else.  We have record breaking brookies, cutthroats, splake and tiger muskie, kokanee all in one trip.  Enjoy the spectacular scenery ranging  from red rock vistas to lush green forests where wildlife is in abundance.  We will pack you a sack lunch to satisfy your appetite while you savor a day of restful fishing.  The beauty and great fishing of our area just can't be beat, and you can look forward to one of our delicious dutch oven dinners and possibly some of our local western musicians.  Be sure to come and enjoy our summer playground.  

In the evening you may want to have one of our scrumptious Cowboy Dutch Oven Dinners.  On most Saturday nights we have many of the local western cowboy poets and or musicians  to entertain and complete your day.  Great fishing, great food and great entertainment.  The west at its best!

Fishing at Causey Reservoir will net you some beautiful Brown Trout, up to 30 plus inches long, along with Rainbow and Kokanee.  Here on the Ranch we have native Cut Throat Trout in streams that are closed to the public and open only to those who are fishing with our guides.

Good fishing can also be found at Pineview Reservoir which has plenty of catfish, crappie and largemouth bass along with record tiger muskie.  Winter is one of the best times to fish the Pineview Reservoir. During the winter ice fishing is a very popular sport on the reservoir and attracts hundreds of people.  For a little more adventure we can even snowmobile you into to some excellent fishing spots during the winter.  Join us for year round adventure.

FULLY GUIDED HUNTS

 

We at Red Rock Ranch and Outfitters offer a great hunting experience at fair and reasonable prices.  We are located in Huntsville, Utah; along the Monte Cristo Mountain Range.  We have 640 acres of private land surrounded by other great hunting units.  We are in a spectacular hunting area that produces some magnificent animals.

Your hunt includes wall tents, cots, stoves and sleeping bags for you and your party if you would like.  We provide three great meals a day.  A country breakfast, we will pack lunch for the days you spend hunting on the mountain and a hearty dinner when you return.  All of our guides provide solid knowledge about the area we are hunting and all animals in it.  Hunt price does not include any taxes, processing or taxidermy fees.

We are surrounded by the Beaver Creek which flows into the South Fork River which comes out of the Causey Reservoir that has a good population of Brown and Rainbow Trout.  We also have several descent sized flocks of small game birds.  Fishing equipment will be provided free of charge to those who choose to take advantage of the opportunity during their hunting experience.  Shotguns and shells for small game hunting will need to be provided by hunter.  All Fishing and hunting Licenses must be purchased by hunter.
