RED ROCK RENDEZVOUS

JUNE 29 TO JULY 1, 2007 – RED ROCK RANCH WILL HOST THE RED CANYON FREE TRAPPERS RENDEZVOUS.  Step back in time.  See a small part of the past come to life.  See how the Mountain Men and Women lived.  See their crafts and skills.  See them compete in shoots, knife and hawk throw and a mountain man run.  See how they cooked and hear their stories and their adventures.  Come out and have a little fun and meet our local Mountain Men and Women and join them in a part of history.  They will be setting up on Friday and will start the rendezvous on Saturday.  It is open to the public at no cost.  It is open to the public at no cost.  We will serve our famous DUTCH OVEN BUFFALO STEW served in a refillable bread bowl.

 

THIS RENDEZVOUS IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC

THOSE WHO REGISTER EARLY WILL RECEIVE A FREE HORSE BACK RIDE OR HAY RIDE

 

 

THIS YEAR WE WILL BE DOING THE "GREAT CHICKEN ROUND-UP"AGAIN.  THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE HERE LAST YEAR HAD A GREAT TIME AND ALL WON A HORSE RIDE. PHOTO GALLERY 2006, 2007.

On Saturday night we will have RICHARD OLSEN with his great cowboy poetry and his country and western music. Richard Olsen will have many of his C.D.'s to sell.
